Hitting a ball with a stick is fun. Hard, but fun. Because it's fun, golf engages kids in a PE class setting who may not be drawn to traditional team sports. Because it's hard, golf not only allows its players to learn crucial life lessons, it requires this. The First Tee of Utah has developed a simple, effective golf curriculum that introduces kids to the fundamentals of the game while teaching them character values such as integrity, respect, and perseverance. In this session, you will learn about The First Tee's school program that can be delivered either by a classroom teacher or with the assistance of The First Tee coaches at your school. Come with good shoes and good attitudes because you'll take a few swings and see for yourself what your kids will experience.
